In Barcelona

In Barcelona

It’s the 10th day since I came to Barcelona.

In between I went to Alhambra and stayed there for 2 nights. I also stayed a night in Granada, so I’ve been in Barcelona exactly a week.

I can see the Sagrada Familia right in front of my eyes from our apartment.

In just these 10 days, it feels like the dawn has come significantly earlier.

Seeing the cluster of steeples of the Sagrada Familia stained red in the morning light at 7:30 AM has become something I look forwad to every morning. That is my favorite time of day right now.

The construnction elevators and cranes start moving around 7 in the morning, which I thought was rather early. Gaudi slept inside the church in his later years and I guess that he also started moving early. They probably learned to start early from that have continued until this day.

Today I’m going to the old city by bicycle. I’m going to walk along the same paths that Gaudi took in his student and younger days.
